As disclosed in the official notice, candidates meeting NMC norms and having completed their PG degree are now eligible for participation in the forthcoming special round of NEET-SS Counselling.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, through a letter dated January 20, 2024, announced the eligibility expansion. According to the letter (No. U.12021/08/2023-MEC), candidates who have completed their PG degree as per NMC norms and appeared for the NEET-SS 2023 exam for the academic year 2023 are officially deemed ‘ELIGIBLE’ for the upcoming special round.
Importantly, NEET-SS ranks declared on October 15, 2023, remain unchanged. The initiation of Round 2 of SS counselling has faced a brief postponement.
It is crucial to note that candidature is provisional, contingent upon fulfilling eligibility criteria stated in the NEET-SS 2023 Information Bulletin and successful Face ID/ Biometric verification where necessary.
