Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interactive session with students, is back with its fifth edition.
The interaction will be held online for the second consecutive year.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has invited students of Classes IX to XII, teachers and parents to participate in a contest for a chance to interact with the Prime Minister.
Registration for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 will be open till January 20. Those interested can visit https://innovateindia.mygov.in/ to enrol.
Participants will be selected through an online creative writing competition. Students have been given six themes to write on — Stress management strategies during COVID-19, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav, Self-reliant school for self-reliant India, Clean India, Green India; Digital collaboration in classrooms; Environmental conservation and climate change resilience.
The topics for teachers are National Education Policy (NEP) for Naya Bharat and The COVID-19 Pandemic: opportunities & challenges. Parents can pick from Beti Padhao, Desh Badhao; Local to Global - Vocal for Local; Lifelong Students' Yearning for Learning.
The questions asked by the winners of the competition will be featured in the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme.
About 2,050 participants selected through the contest will receive a certificate of appreciation from the director, NCERT, and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit comprising Exam Warriors in Hindi and English written by the Prime Minister.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 1.0, the first edition of this interactive programme, was held at Talkatora Stadium on February 16, 2018. The event has since been held annually with students, teachers and parents from across the nation and abroad interacting and discussing with the Prime Minister how to handle exam stress so that life can be celebrated.
