Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR has opened admission for the academic year 2024-25 to all its programmes across its four schools in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Management and Entrepreneurship and Humanities and Social Sciences. Students interested in pursuing the degree courses will be able to submit their applications online at the official website of the university at www.snu.edu.in/home.
The university, recognised as an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India, is offering 50 programmes to the students at undergraduate levels and has introduced several scholarship programmes for meritorious students. The scholarships being offered by the university include School Toppers Scholarship, Merit Based Scholarship, Scholarship for candidates from low-income households, Sports Scholarship, College Board India Scholarship and Financial Aid to deserving students.

The university offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary, research focussed and student centric courses from under-graduate to Ph.D level and also provides flexibility to choose elective subjects according to their interest, i.e., across various discplines from the differnt schools of the university.
Speaking at a press conference in Kolkata, Dr Partha Chatterjee, Dean of Academics and Professor at the Department of Economics at Shiv Nadar University said that there is a pool of talent in West Bengal and students from the state excel in diverse programmes offered at the university.
"There is a great talent pool in West Bengal, and we have observed that students from this region excel in a diverse range of programmes be it in Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering or Management," he said.
"We are hopeful that like the previous years, this year too, we are excited to overwhelming response from Kolkata across our programmes," he added.
"The Career Development Centre (CDC) at the university have consistently demonstrated a brilliant track record when it come to placement. . Last year, graduates from the University were recruited by leading organizations including Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, PwC, UBS, Palo Alto, Silicon Labs, McKinsey, L&T, Airbus, Honda, JK Tyres etc," said Dr Chatterjee.
Established in 2011, the university boasts of a 286 acre residential campus with approximately 3000 students and 250+ faculty. The university was awarded the 'Institution of Eminence' status in 2022.
