The State Bank of India (SBI) issued several recruitment notifications for the Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO), one of which is for 150 'Trade Finance Officers, Middle Management Grade - Scale II'. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the careers portal of the bank website- sbi.co.in/web/careers.
As per the schedule, the application deadline is till 27 June. The category-wise distribution includes 61 seats for the General category, 25 for SC, 11 for ST, 38 for OBC, and 15 for EWS candidates. Successful applicants will be assigned to Hyderabad or Kolkata.
Candidates from government-recognized universities and institutions with certificates in Forex by the IIBF can apply. Candidates with Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) certification or Certificate in Trade Finance or Certificate in International Banking will be preferred.
Also, a minimum of two years experience (post-academic qualification) in Trade Finance Processing as an Executive in a supervisory role in any scheduled commercial bank will be required.
