The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the application window for Probationary Officers (PO) vacancies, with the deadline set to close on October 3. Eligible candidates can submit their applications via the bank's careers portal at sbi.co.in.
Originally scheduled to close on September 27, the application deadline was later extended to accommodate potential applicants.
The SBI is currently conducting its 2023 recruitment drive for 2,000 PO vacancies within the bank. The preliminary examination for SBI PO 2023 is slated for November, with the detailed schedule yet to be released.
To qualify for the PO position, candidates must possess a graduation degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates in the final year or semester of their graduation are eligible, provided they can furnish proof of passing the exam on or before December 31, should they be selected for an interview.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and should not exceed 30 years of age as of April 1, 2023, to apply for SBI PO 2023.
Application fees amount to ₹750 for General/EWS/BC category candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD category candidates are exempt from fees.
