3D simulations can now make learning fun and easier to grasp for school students.

Saras-3D has come up with India’s first stereoscopic 3D learning solution called the Genius 3D Learning. It is designed to cater to students of classes X, XI and XII from CBSE and ICSE boards. The learning is in sync with the NCERT syllabus.

Genius 3D Learning uses interactive visualisation to take students a step ahead towards achieving their academic goals. The mechanism involves 3D simulations, 3D videos and lectures by subject experts, top educators and alumni from world’s top institutions.

The interactive visualisation makes concepts and theories easy understandable. The sessions come with more elements such as quizzes and activity tracking reports.

The technology comes in a package that includes Genius 3D Learning Application, Genius 3D Booster Box, 3D glasses and a monitor connectable to any existing computer or laptop that supports Windows. It can be used by both individual students and schools.

Genius 3D Learning will be sold and serviced in India by 3D EdTech Pvt Ltd a subsidiary by Saras-3D.

“Genius 3D Learning is a product of years of research and development. It aims to shape the students of today into STEM innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow, empowering them to compete and succeed globally. It democratises high quality education, making it available to all and is designed to empower the curious and ambitious minds of today,” said Bipin Dama, the founder & CEO of Saras-3D, Inc.

The makers of this technology promise to make learning two times faster and more retentive to yield better scores. It provides a virtual laboratory experience that gives students a real-like experience.

Kashyap Mankad, founding member and technical director at 3D EdTech, said interactive visualisation is designed in a manner that allows students can interact, rotate and move objects in all directions in a three-dimensional space, thus helping them understand concepts and retain knowledge better. “Saras-3D’s subject matter experts have guided creation of these virtual laboratory simulations that till now were impossible. For example, we have a beating heart with ECG, atomic models, simulations of a thrown projectile and much more. In short, we are offering a virtual lab experience with infinite permutations for better understanding of the concepts,” Mankad said.
