Sanskriti University in Mathura recently organised an orientation programme for its fresh batch of PhD scholars, marking the beginning of their journey in the varsity.
The programme, held in hybrid mode, was aimed at providing guidance to the PhD scholars about the regulations and guidelines related to doctoral research in the university. It also helped the new entrants get an idea of the educational opportunities available to them and the facilities they will be provided during the course of their doctoral research.
In his welcome address, Sachin Gupta, the chancellor of Sanskriti University, said, “We have always emphasised on the importance of research and innovation as they lead to the development of a country. Our research scholars have always made us proud by working on various innovations and developing many new products. It is our vision to make India a superpower and it will only be possible through the efforts made in the field of research.”
Gupta congratulated the new entrants and also encouraged the PhD scholars with his words of wisdom. He emphasised on quality research and asked the students to stick to their time table and start framing their research questions now. The students were also addressed by the varsity's pro-vice-chancellor, Rakesh Premi.
Semester progress reports were presented to the new entrants during the programme. Presentations by the faculty of Sanskriti University were made on various topics which were highly engaging and beneficial for the scholars.
Spread over an area of more than 70 acres on NH-2 Chhata, in Uttar Pradesh, Sanskriti University is about 57 kilometres from Delhi NCR. The state-of-the-art infrastructure and architectural excellence help the university make a strong impression.
