Mathura-based Sanskriti University conferred degrees and diplomas on a total of 2,205 students from 2020 and 2021 batches at its third convocation held on the varsity campus on May 16 in presence of Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak and other dignitaries from the state.

Pathak, the chief guest for the event, said, “I heartily congratulate all the graduating students of Sanskriti University. You all have received your degrees, and now it is time to prove your mettle. No one can ever harm a country whose youth is capable.”

He further congratulated the founders, administrators and students of the university for achieving milestones in education in just five years.

The convocation also saw addresses from the guests of honour higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyay, State Higher Education Council chief Girish Chandra Tripathi, and Russian philosopher Gennady Burbulis.

Speaking about the importance of education, the higher education minister said, “We have to walk to our destination alone, and when we do so with courage, many people join us.”

Encouraging the graduating batches, Tripathi said, “The formation of a nation does not happen overnight. It is built by character-driven, sincere people who instil in them a sense of loyalty and character.”

At the convocation, Tanmay Goswami, vice-chancellor, Sanskriti University, presented the annual report.

“Sanskriti University's convocations have always been uplifting events, and we wish our graduates every success in life. I believe that our students are not just degree holders but also ambassadors for Sanskriti University. Their choices will shape their future, and I hope they will live life to the fullest,” said RK Gupta, group chairman of Sanskriti University.

The ceremony saw the graduates taking their pledges and sharing their experiences at Sanskriti University.
