Apply Now for UPSC NDA, CDS 1 Exams 2025: 850+ Defence Posts, Key Dates Inside

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 and the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA) 1 exams for 2025. Candidates can register online through the official portal, upsconline.gov.in.

UPSC CDS 2025 Vacancy Breakdown

A total of 457 positions will be filled under the CDS recruitment process:

• Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 posts
• Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 32 posts
• Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 posts
• Officers’ Training Academy (Men), Chennai: 275 posts
• Officers’ Training Academy (Women), Chennai: 18 posts

UPSC NDA and NA 2025 Vacancy Breakdown

The NDA and NA exams will recruit 406 candidates for the following roles:

• NDA - Army: 208 posts (including 10 for women)
• NDA - Navy: 42 posts (including 6 for women)
• NDA - Air Force: 120 posts, with subcategories for Flying (92), Ground Duties (Tech - 18), and Ground Duties (Non-Tech - 10), inclusive of female vacancies.
• Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36 posts (including 5 for women).

UPSC 2025 Application Fees

• NDA 2025 Exam: INR 100
• CDS 2025 Exam: INR 200

Exemptions apply to SC/ ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs as per the official notice. Payments can be made via SBI branches, credit/ debit cards, UPI, or internet banking.

UPSC 2025 Key Dates

The deadline for submitting applications is December 31, 2024, until 6PM. Following the application closure, UPSC will activate a correction window from January 1 to January 7, 2025, allowing applicants to make necessary changes to their forms.

The UPSC NDA, CDS exams are scheduled to take place on April 13, 2025, at designated centres across the country. E-Admit Cards will be available for download from the UPSC website in the week preceding the exam date.
