The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has initiated the registration process for JECA 2024 on its official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca. During the registration process, applicants must provide a valid mobile number and email id. The board emphasises that all communications regarding JECA 2024 will be sent to the candidates’ registered mobile number and email ID.

How to Apply for JECA 2024

  1. Visit the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca
  2. Click on the 'online application form' link on the homepage
  3. Select 'new registration' and complete the application form in the subsequent tab
  4. Log in using the application number and password
  5. Fill out the JECA 2024 application form and submit the required fee
  6. Download the application form for future reference.

Application Fees

Aspirants from the unreserved category are required to pay a fee of ₹500, whereas candidates from OBC, SC, ST, EWS and the third gender categories will need to pay ₹400.

Payment modes accepted include net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, and QR code. Eligible candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or those in their final semester can proceed to apply for the examination.

Exam Pattern

The question paper will consist of two types of questions – category 1 and category 2. It will contain 80 category 1 questions, each carrying one mark, and 20 category 2 questions, each carrying two marks. WBJEEB has specified that 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers in category 1, while there will be no negative marking in category 2.
