ICSI CSEET January 2025 Exam Overview
The CSEET exam tests candidates on four key subjects:
- Business Communication
- Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
- Economic and Business Environment
- Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude
The test will be conducted in a Remote Proctored Mode, allowing students to take the exam from their preferred location under online supervision.
To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate score of 50% and at least 40% in each subject. There is no negative marking, and the use of calculators, pens, pencils, paper, or notebooks is strictly prohibited during the test.
Eligibility Criteria for ICSI CSEET January 2025
Students who have completed or are currently pursuing their class 12 education are eligible to apply for the CSEET.
However, some candidates are exempt from appearing for the entrance test and can directly enroll in the CS Executive Programme. These exemptions apply to:
- Candidates who have cleared the ICSI Foundation level
- Final pass candidates from ICAI (Chartered Accountants)
- Final pass candidates from ICMAI (Cost Accountants)
- Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks
- Postgraduates
The CSEET is conducted four times a year – in January, May, July, and November. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as equivalent to a postgraduate degree, the CS qualification enhances career opportunities in academic and professional domains.
