The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the commencement of the application process for Librarian Grade II positions as part of its RPSC Librarian Recruitment 2024 drive. With a total of 300 vacancies up for grabs, eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online via the official RPSC website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
Commencing on February 20, 2024, the registration window will remain open until March 20, 2024, providing aspiring candidates with ample time to submit their applications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Prospective applicants must hold a graduation degree or its equivalent recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), along with a degree or diploma in Library Science accredited by the National Council of Teacher Education or the Government.
- Additionally, candidates should fall within the age bracket of 18 to 40 years to be considered eligible for the positions.
Selection Process
It will primarily consist of a written examination, carrying a total of 400 marks. The examination will include two papers, each with a duration of 2 hours and containing questions totalling 200 marks. It is essential to note that negative marking will be enforced, with one-third of the marks allotted to a particular question deducted for each incorrect response.
