The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will close the application correction window for the RRB NTPC 2024 (Non-Technical Popular Category) undergraduate posts today, November 6. Candidates who registered successfully for the RRB NTPC 2024 exam can make modifications to their applications through the official website, rrbapply.gov.in, by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
The RRB NTPC application correction window, which opened on October 30, allows candidates to make necessary adjustments to their submitted forms. However, candidates should note that only certain fields are open for editing, and a modification fee of ₹250 applies for each change, except for fields that cannot be altered.
Editable Fields
Candidates can modify most fields, including name, address, education qualifications, and community category.
Email ID and mobile number, however, are fixed fields and cannot be changed once submitted, as these details ensure candidate authenticity and communication.
Community Category Modification
Candidates wishing to change their community category (e.g., SC/ST to Unreserved, OBC, or EWS) will need to pay both a ₹250 modification fee and any additional exam fee difference.
The fee difference is ₹250 when changing from SC/ST to other categories.
The RRB NTPC 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill 11,558 vacancies (3,445 undergraduate posts and 8,113 graduate-level posts) across the railway departments.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their applications to ensure all information is correct before the window closes, as changes beyond the deadline will not be permitted.
