The Puducherry government released the results for the March-April Class 12 public exams on Monday. The overall pass rate was 92.68 %, down more than 3 % from the previous academic year.

According to them, this year's pass percentage is 3.45% lower than last year's, when it was 96.13%.

N Rangasamy, the chief minister, told the media after the results were announced that the Puducherry and Karaikal areas have accepted the Tamil Nadu curriculum and syllabus for higher secondary courses for the current academic year. According to officials, 13,183 of the 14,224 students—6,682 boys and 7,542 girls—who took the Class 12 exams in the two areas passed, scoring a combined 92.68%.
