On the first day of its undergraduate (UG) admissions procedure, Delhi University (DU) received 52,790 applications. Through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), the institution has begun accepting applications for admission to its undergraduate programmes.
The CSAS gateway went live on 14 June 2023. This year, there are about 71,000 seats available, and through its 68 colleges, DU offers 78 UG programmes and 198 BA programme combinations.
To complete the UG admissions process, applicants must adhere to a set of instructions provided by the university. The Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates in 2023 (CUET UG 2023) will serve as the basis for admission to all UG programmes, which will be handled through the CSAS site. In the second week of July, DU is most likely to announce the results of the first round of allocation-cum-admissions.
There is a one-time, non-refundable CSAS UG 2023 application fee. Candidates must pay Rs 250 for the UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories while just paying Rs 10 for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. Candidates seeking for BFA would also need to pay an additional, non-refundable cost of Rs. 400. There is an extra charge of Rs. 100 for each quota for applying to the ECA and Sports supernumerary quotas.
