OTET 2022: Registration begins; check important dates and steps to apply

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has started the application process for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, OTET 2022. Interested candidates can now apply for this eligibility test at the official BSE Odisha website- bseodisha.ac.in

The last date to submit the application form by the candidates is 19 October. After the deadline, the application form won’t be accepted anymore. The application fee for SC/ST is Rs 400 while for others it is Rs 600. Candidates are requested to check the detailed notification available on the BSE Odisha website to check the eligibility criteria.

The exam will be of two papers- Paper I and Paper II and the total duration will be of two and half hours. The question pattern for the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 1 mark for each question. Candidates must note that there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Steps to apply for OTET 2022 Recruitment:

  1. Go to the official website of BSE Odisha- bseodisha.ac.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the link ‘Apply for OTET Registration 2022”
  3. Enter the required credentials for registration
  4. Login to your account by entering ID and Password
  5. Fill out the OTET application form and upload the necessary documents
  6. Pay the application fee as stated
  7. Submit the application form and take a printout of it for further use

The pass percentage for reserved category candidates is 50 percent, while for the general candidates the qualifying mark is at least 60 percent.
