The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission has invited online applications for various Forest Guard, Forester and Live Stock Inspector positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination online at the official website of OSSSC at osssc.gov.in
The process of online application has started from October 26 and will continue till November 25.
A total of 2712 candidates would be recruited for the positions of Forest Guard, Livestock Inspector and Forester.
Here’s the details of the vacancy
Forest Guard: A total of 1677 candidates would be recruited for this position.
Livestock Inspector: a total of 719 candidates would be recruited for this position.
Forester: A total of 316 candidates would be recruited for this position
Eligibility
Forest Guard: A candidate must have passed High School Certificate Examination (10+) from a recognised board or institution.
Livestock Inspector: The candidate must have passed the +2 vocational courses in the field of animal husbandry or Dairy or Poultry or Meat or Animal Production or +2 Science froma recognised Educational Institution or Board or Council or University
Forester: A candidate must have passed +2 Science from recognised university, institution or board. The candidate must also have basic computer skill.
Age Limit
In order to apply for the position, a candidate must be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 38 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be provided relaxation in age limit according to government rules.

Candidates will not have to pay any application fee for applying to the above-mentioned posts.

Step 2: Click on Register
Step 3: Click “New User” link, if you are registering for a Post for the 1st Time
Step 4: After clicking on new user an Instruction Page will appear on your computer screen
Step 5: Scroll down and read the complete instructions carefully and click on “Proceed to Registration” button
Step 6: Provide your Email ID & Mobile Number and click “Proceed” to continue
Step 7: Fill in all the information
Step 8: Upload Signature
Step 9: Submit the form
