The exam consists of two vital segments: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastics Aptitude Test (SAT):

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Odisha will conduct the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS 2023) examination on November 5, 2023. Students studying in Class 8 in government, government aided or local body schools are eligible to appear in NMMS examinations.

Prospective candidates can now download their NMMS admit cards from the official website, scertodisha.nic.in, without needing to pay any examination fees. A total of 3,314 scholarships will be disbursed across 30 districts, with special provisions for SC, ST, SEBC, and physically handicapped candidates.

While no specific syllabus is outlined for the NMMS examination, the questions will align with the curricula of Classes 7 and 8. Successful candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹1,000 for four years, spanning from Class 9 to 12.

  2. Click on the NMMS admit card download link for 2023.
  3. Input your login credentials and submit.
  4. Your NMMS 2023 admit card will be promptly displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and save it for future reference.

The NMMS Scholarship 2023 examination consists of two vital segments:

Mental Ability Test (MAT): This section comprises 90 multiple-choice questions evaluating reasoning and critical thinking skills. Expect questions on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern recognition, perceptron, and hidden figures, among others.

Scholastics Aptitude Test (SAT): This segment includes questions on physics, chemistry, biology, history, political science, geography, and economics.
