The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the registration process for the JEE Mains Exam 2024 Session 2 today, on February 2, 2024. Candidates wishing to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination Session 2 can complete their application process through the official NTA JEE website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Documents Required for JEE Mains Exam 2024 Session 2:
1. Scanned image of candidates' photograph (save a copy for future use after uploading).
2. Scanned image of signature (save a copy for future use).
3. Scanned image of PwD certificate, if applicable.
4. Category certificate, if applicable.
According to the official brochure, the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, and PwD certificate/UDID card should adhere to specific format guidelines:
- The recent photograph should be either in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.
- Scanned photographs and signatures must be sent in JPG/JPEG format.
- Size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
- Size of the scanned PwD certificate: PDF between 50 kb to 300 kb.
The application fees for Paper 1 or Paper 2 are ₹1000 for general male candidates and ₹800 for general female candidates for centres in India. Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category male candidates pay ₹900, and female candidates pay ₹800. SC/ST/PwD male and female category candidates have an application fee of ₹500 for centres in India.
