The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) anytime soon. NEET UG 2023 was conducted twice this year, first on 7 May and then on 6 June.

The NEET UG 2023 6 June exam was conducted at the request of the Manipur government in the wake of the law-and-order situation in the state.

NEET UG 2023: Section A Marking Scheme

ADVERTISEMENT
  • For every correct answer or the most appropriate answer, applicants will be awarded four marks
  • Any incorrect answer will be granted minus one mark.
  • Unanswered questions will not be given any mark.
  • In case more than one option is found to be correct then four marks will be given to only those applicants who have marked any of the correct options.
  • In case all options are stated to be correct then Four marks will be granted to all those applicants who have attempted the question.
  • In case no option is correct or a question is found to be wrong or dropped then all applicants who appeared for the exam will be granted four marks irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by them.

NEET UG 2023 Section B Marking Scheme

  • For every correct answer, applicants will be given four marks
  • Every incorrect answer will lead to the reduction of one mark and no marks will be granted for unanswered questions
  • In case more than one option is found to be correct then four marks will be given to only applicants who have marked any of the correct options.
  • In case all options are found to be correct then four marks will be given to all those who have attempted the question
  • If a question is later stated to be incorrect or is dropped then four marks will be granted to all those who have attempted the question.
