The Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET-UG) will continue till tomorrow 17 June where more than 65,000 applicants will be appearing for the CUET exam on different dates, as per officials. Previously, the CUET UG 2023 was scheduled to take place from 21 to 31 May, that was later extended to 7 June and now then it was later extended to continue till 17 June.
In one of its notices, the NTA also informed that it has kept 21, 22 and 23 June as buffer dates for the CUET UG 2023 exam. The exam dates have been extended for the third time.
The CUET UG 2023 results are expected to be out within 15 days of the conclusion of exams. "According to the original schedule, the results were expected around June 20, which will now probably be announced around the first week of July," as told by a senior official to PTI.
Nearly 14.99 lakh applications were received for CUET-UG 2023, marking a significant increase from its debut edition last year. CUET UG is the second-largest entrance exam in the country as far as the number of applicants are considered. As many as 12.5 lakh students had registered for the examination and 9.9 lakh had submitted their applications in its debut edition.
