The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and candidates' responses for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) examination. Candidates can access the answer key on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
How to Check the NEET UG 2024 Answer Key
- Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
- Candidates need to log into their profile with credentials such as application number, password and dates of birth to download the NEET UG 2024 answer key and response sheet.
- Check the answer key thoroughly. Should you notice discrepancies in the provisional answer key or their recorded responses, raise objections on the ‘Answer Key Challenge’ link.
Candidates can raise objections by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. The objection window for candidates to challenge the provisional answers is now open and will close on May 31, 11.50PM.
The NTA has stated that a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet has been emailed to candidates’ registered addresses. All objections must be submitted online, as offline submissions will not be considered. Once the objection window closes, NTA’s subject experts will review all challenges. If corrections are deemed necessary, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the NEET UG 2024 results will be calculated based on the final answer key.
Candidates must note that the final answer key determined by the experts will be conclusive, and no further challenges will be entertained after May 31.
The NEET UG 2024 exam was held on May 5, from 2PM to 5.20PM, with over 24 lakh candidates participating at 4,750 centres across 571 cities in India and 14 cities internationally.
