The National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the tests from July 25 to July 27, 2024, in computer based test (CBT) mode in five subjects across 187 cities. Out of the 2,25,335 candidates who had registered for the exam, 1,63,529 of them appeared.
The final answer key had also been released on September 11, allowing candidates to verify their answers and estimate their scores.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their scorecards;
- Visit the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Joint CSIR-UGC NET July 2024: Score Card’ link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin to log in.
- Once logged in, you can view and download your scorecard.
The release of the results will now pave the way for the qualification process, where successful candidates can pursue a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), or Lectureship in prestigious institutions across the country.
