The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the much-awaited provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now review their responses and raise objections against any perceived discrepancies through the CUET UG website (exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG).
Along with the release of the answer keys, NTA has also opened the answer key challenge window simultaneously. This will allow students to raise objections against the preliminary answer keys by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per challenged question/answer, which a panel of experts will then review. The challenge window will be functional till July 9 (by 5 PM).
After completion of this procedure, the final answer key and result will be prepared and declared.
NTA Review and Potential Retest
“The NTA is also addressing the public grievances received regarding the Exam conducted for CUET (UG) - 2024 and received up to 30 June 2024”, the official notification additionally stated.
The NTA will carefully evaluate the complaints, and if a significant number of grievances are found to be genuine, a retest for the affected session or the entire exam may be conducted in CBT mode at the selected centres any day between July 15 to July 19.
