The National Testing Agency (NTA) has cancelled the UGC NET June 2024 Re-exam scheduled for Tuesday, August 27 at an examination centre in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The examination centre has been identified as Shankara Group of Institutions at RIICO Industrial Area, Kukas, Jaipur.
According to NTA, technical glitches occurred during the examination at the exam centre and the Shift I examination was cancelled. The examination was held nationwide in a Computer Based Mode (CBT) on Tuesday, August 27.
"Due to technical glitches occurred during the examination process at Shankara Group of Institutions, Sp-41, RIICO Industrial Area, Kukas, National Highway 11C, Kukas, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, 302028, of UGC – NET June 2024 (Rescheduled), examination scheduled on 27.08.2024 (Shift – I) in CBT mode could not be conducted," read the official notice by NTA.
The NTA has decided to re-conduct the exam which was scheduled to be held at the examination centre in Shift I. NTA will be releasing the detailed schedule, time and venue of the examination in due course.
NTA will be issuing a notification soon in this regard.
The National Testing Agency has also advised candidates to visit the official websites of NTA www.nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in for the latest updates.
The National Testing agency is re-conducting the UGC NET exam following the cancellation of the original examination which was held on June 18 due to reports that it might have been compromised.
