On Monday, July 11, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the PRAGATII 2022 exam along with making the admit cards available on their official website: https://pragatii.nta.ac.in/. Registered students will be taking the final exam online on July 31. The PRAGATII exam, formerly known as the Indian Scholastic Assessment Test (Ind-SAT), forms part of the Study In India (SII) programme introduced by the Ministry of Education. The exam is intended for international students who wish to pursue an Undergraduate or Postgraduate education in India for the upcoming academic year. Based on their performance and merit on the PRAGATII exam, students will be offered various scholarships to study in India. Starting July 11, registered students can access and download their admit cards from the official NTA website by clicking on the ‘Download Admit Card’ option and filling in the requisite details.
The NTA has also declared the schedule for the exam. Prior to the final exam, there will be two webinars held July 12 and 16, disseminating crucial information about the exam. This will be followed by two mock-tests on July 23 and 27, to prepare the students. The final exam will be conducted on the 31 July. The date for the results of the final exam will be published later on their website.
The SII programme is a flagship initiative that aims to endorse India as a premier education network and site for students from across the globe. Inviting more and more international students to pursue higher education in the country will also create greater opportunities for international and national students to learn alongside and from each other.
