14 Foreign Exam Cities Added by NTA as Upcoming NEET UG 2024 Centres; Know All Details

In a public notice issued on February 20, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has added 14 new foreign exam cities as centres for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024. The NEET UG 2024 registration commenced on February 9. Since many of the students have already started filling up the form, NTA has declared that the registered candidates will get an option to change their exam centres during the application correction facility.

Informing about the centre preference change, NTA in its official notice stated:

“Candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres will have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the correction window. This window will open after the registration window closes.”

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website at neet.ntaonline.in.
2. Click on the registration link on the homepage.
3. Fill out the relevant details for new registration.
4. After successful profile creation, fill out the application form.
5. Submit the required documents, and pay the application fee.
6. Download a copy of the application form for future reference.

Additionally, the NTA has informed that the foreign students can change their centres to foreign cities during the NEET UG 2024 application correction process itself, keeping in mind that they have to pay a different amount on choosing the centres. It will be comparatively easier for candidates applying fresh from foreign countries since they will be able to directly select their preferred country from the drop-down menu during the application process.

The NEET-UG 2024 exam will take place on May 5, 2024.
