The NSHM School of Media and Communication will host a first-of-its-kind virtual inter-college fest from November 12 to 14. The event will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube from 11am onwards on November 12.
The fest titled TIME— The Influence of Media on Entertainment is expected to benefit thousands of students from other disciplines, along with working and aspiring communication professionals, and give them a platform to share their talent.
Over 3,000 students have registered already for the virtual event. Loreto College, Chandigarh University, Shri Shikshayatan College, St. Xavier’s College, St. Xavier’s University, Institute of Mass Communication, Calcutta Media Institute (CMI), Adamas University and University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh are some of the colleges taking part in the event.
Industry leaders will speak on a wide range of topics that will highlight the role of media and entertainment in influencing the youth. Students will take part in an oratory competition and screen films made by them.
TIME 2021 aims to engage and inform students about various socially relevant issues and encourage them to take part in opinion-sharing. Winners will be chosen by a jury panel and rewarded with a gift and e-certificate. Additionally, each participating student will get an e-certificate as well.
