The Directorate of Technical Education, Goa has announced that no GCET will be held for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year for admission to B.E Degree courses as well as B.Pharm courses.
According to a notification, the admission to undergraduate Engineering courses in the state for academic year 2024-25 shall be carried out on the basis of score/rank obtained by a candidate in the JEE Main - 2024 to be conducted by the National Testing Agency in January and April 2024.
On the other hand, the notification also stated that admissions to the B.Pharm (Pharmacy) courses shall be carried out on the basis of Best aggregate Score in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry, either at JEE-Main 2024 or NEET- 2024.
Hence, candidates willing to take admission in B.Pharm courses will have the option to appear in JEE-Main 2024 or NEET-2024 or both.
The directorate of Technical Education, Goa has also advised all candidates willing to take admission in B.E Degree courses in the state to thoroughly pursue the information bulletin of JEE-Main - 2024, which has been notified on the official website of JEE Mains - 2024 at jeemain.nta.ac.in for information on exam scheme, eligibility, syllabus, application procedure and other relevant information.
The registration process for JEE Mains 2024 examination has already begun and the last date for completion of the registration process is November 30.
Session 1 of JEE Main 2024 will be held from January 24 to February 1, while session 2 will be held from April 1 to 15. NEET 2024, on the other hand, will be held on May 5, 2024.
