NMMSS 2024: Application begins at scholarship.gov.in; Know how to apply and other details here

The Ministry of Education opened the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) to submit applications for National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) from 30 June onwards. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for NMMSS 2024 through the official website of NSP- scholarship.gov.in.

The NSP portal is now open for one-time registration as well as application for fresh and renewal scholarships. As per the schedule, the deadline to apply for NMMSS 2024 on NSP portal is till 31 August.

Candidates must note that the NMMSS verification process on the NSP portal consists of two levels: Level-1 verification by the Institute Nodal Officer (INO) and Level-2 verification by the District Nodal Officer (DNO). The deadline for INO (L1) verification is 15 September 2024, and for DNO (L2) verification is 30 September 2024.

NMMSS 2024: Steps to apply

1. Go to the official website- scholarship.gov.in
2. On the homepage, click on new registration link and key in the required information
3. After successful registration, fill in the application form
4. Upload the necessary documents and click submit
5. Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for further reference
