The National Medical Commission (NMC) has revived the online application platform for medical institutions to submit requests till 23 December 2022, for permission to build new medical colleges, expand the number of MBBS and PG medical seats, or launch new PG programmes.
Previously, the deadline for applying to MBBS programmes was August 31, 2022, while the deadline for applying to postgraduate programmes was July 20, 2022. Therefore, NMC notes that numerous institutions missed the opportunity to apply for the 2023–24 academic session due to a significant number of applications and a limited period of time available.
