The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has initiated the application correction window for the NIFT entrance exam 2024 starting today, January 10. Candidates can now edit their NIFT 2024 application forms on the official website, nift.ac.in, with the deadline for modifications set on January 12.

It must further be noted that candidates are allowed to make changes to various details such as gender, nationality, email ID, address, category, sub-category, and educational qualifications in their NIFT 2024 application forms.

Scheduled for February 5, 2024, the NIFT 2024 entrance exam will determine admission to both undergraduate and postgraduate fashion programs. The exam, conducted as a computer-based test, will take place in 60 cities across India.

How to Edit NIFT 2024 Application Form?

1. Go to the official website of NIFT, nift.ac.in.

2. Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab.

3. Navigate to the registration link, and candidates will be redirected to another page.

4. Fill in your login credentials, including application number, email ID, and date of birth.

5. Edit the NIFT application form and submit.

For BDes programs, the exam authority will administer a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). Successful candidates will proceed to the situation test. In the case of MDes programs, shortlisted candidates will have to sit for a personal interview.

According to the NIFT 2024 exam schedule, GAT is scheduled from 9 am to 11 am, CAT from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. GAT holds 30 percent weightage, CAT 50 percent, and the situation test carries 20 percent weightage for the BDes exam.
