The NID DAT 2023 exam will be divided into two sections: preliminary and main.
The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2023 admit card will be made available by the National Institute of Design (NID) today, 2 January 2023, for the BDes and MDes programmes. The NID DAT 2023 preliminary admit card can be found on the official website at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates can download it after it is released by logging in using their registered email address, birth date, and password. On 8 January 2023, the DAT preliminary examination will be held.
NID DAT 2023: Exam Pattern
The NID DAT 2023 exam will be divided into two sections: preliminary and major. The BDes course DAT prelims paper is a paper-and-pencil/pen test that covers both text-based and image-based problems. The only language used on the BDes exam paper will be English. The Common Design Aptitude Test and a Discipline Specific Test, each worth 100 marks, will be included in the MDes DAT prelims question paper to assess the candidate's design aptitude. Both objective and subjective questions will be included in the DAT 2023 prelims paper.

Candidates who are appearing for the NID DAT 2023 Examination must follow the following steps to download the admit card once it is made available
- Visit the official website of NID
- Click on the link of ‘NID DAT 2023 Admit Card’
- Enter the login credentials
- The admit card will be displayed in a new tab
- Check all the details, download it as a PDF & take a printout as well to carry to the examination hall
