A National Medical Commission (NMC) official explained that a notice regarding the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which is scheduled to host the National Exit Test (NExT) in the second half of 2023, is fake.

The fake announcement stated that a meeting was held on June 7, and that the details of the future NExT, including its rules and regulations, will be "disclosed shortly" and would be conducted in the second half of 2023.

Dr. Yogender Malik, a member of the National Medical Commission's (NMC) Ethics and Medical Registration Board, disagreed with the notice and claimed it was fraudulent.

"All individuals involved are cautioned to only rely on genuine letters, circulars, and announcements found on the NMC website. The National Medical Commission would take appropriate legal measures against such false social media posts", the explanation noted.
