The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-examination dates for the 1,563 students who participated in the NEET (UG) 2024. Scheduled for June 23, 2024, with results anticipated by June 30, this test is specifically tailored for candidates who were allocated compensatory marks during the initial examination.
A notable development preceding this re-examination is the formation of a High Powered Committee tasked with scrutinizing the allocation of compensatory or grace marks to 1,563 candidates.
The committee conducted a thorough analysis of all pertinent factors before submitting its recommendations, which have been duly accepted by the NTA.
The decision to conduct a re-examination stems from concerns raised regarding the equitable distribution of grace marks among candidates.
The NEET (UG) 2024, administered by the NTA across 4,750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 international locations, engaged over 24 lakh aspirants. The results of the NEET (UG) 2024 were officially declared on June 4.
