A portal for the generation of PwD certificates by the designated disability NEET screening facilities has been opened by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The disability certificate must be obtained and submitted at mcc.nic.in by applicants who have enrolled themselves under the PwD quota in the NEET UG 2023 application form.
PwD candidates must go to the designated disability screening centres for a physical examination, to have their disability quantified, and to get a PwD certificate that the centre will generate online. At the time of admission, "no other certificate other than the one generated through the MCC portal in online mode will be accepted," it stated.
The MCC added that all applicants will be allowed to obtain the online certificate from the authorised centres, regardless of whether they met the cut-off percentage for NEET UG 2023.
