Aspirants for the MBBS and BDS programmes in medical colleges will also be eligible to register for the stray vacancy round in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2023 this year, which was not permitted in the previous round of counselling. The 2023–24 counselling schedule was released today by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Beginning on July 20, registration for round one will be open.

For 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats at central, deemed universities, All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and other central institutions, MCC conducts NEET UG counselling. Candidates may fill choices in the NEET UG counselling 2023 stray vacancy round in addition to registering with MCC. Prior to last year, the final round of counselling took into account the decisions made by candidates in the mop-up round.

  • Candidates will have one day to upload the required documents to the MCC portal before reporting to the assigned institute.
