The Medical Counselling Committee (MMC) has recently declared the addition of two more seats in its National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) counselling 2022 round-1 seat matrix. These two seats have been added to the Master Chirurgiae (MCh) programme offered by the Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences. The committee has even added 37 seats in its DM and MCh programmes in various medical colleges on 6 December, 2022.
The last notice by the MCC notice stated, "The Medical Counselling Committee has received information from the following Institutes about new seats which could not be contributed by the colleges before the start of Round-1 of SS Counselling 2022. Therefore, the competent authority has decided to include the following DM and MCh seats in the seat matrix of Round-1 of SS Counselling 2022 to prevent wastage of precious Super Specialty seats".
The NEET SS counselling 2022 choice filling window will shut down today at 11:55 pm, 7 December, 2022. The seat allotment procedure will take place between 8 to 9 December, 2022. After the allotment procedure is complete, MCC will be releasing its NEET SS counselling round 1 result on 10 December, 2022.
Students whose names are present in the allotment list will be required to report to their allotted colleges between 11 to 16 December, 2022. In case a student does not wish to join the college allotted in 1 round, they can leave the college and further will also be considered eligible to participate in the future processes of NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2.
