Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is commencing the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2022 mop-up round today, 13 February 2023, and the last date to register is 15 February 2023.
The choice filling will be held between 13 February 2023, and 15 February 2023. The payment facility will be open till 4 pm on 15 February 2023.
The choice locking will be available from 5 pm up to 11:59 pm on February 15, 2023.
The seat allotment process will take place on 16 February 2023, and the result will be declared on 17 February 2023. All the selected candidates can report at the allocated institutes between 18 February 2023, and 23 February 2023, up to 5 pm.
"As per the approval accorded by MoHFW (F. No. U-12021/05/2022-MEC) Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS will conduct a Special Mop UP Round for the vacant Super Specialty (D.M/ M.Ch/ DNB SS) Seats across India in an online mode," as stated in an official statement.
The NEET SS 2022 cut-off percentile has been reduced for each speciality. As per the revised cut-off percentile, the candidates who scored a minimum 20 percentile will be eligible for the mop-up round counselling.
The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) had requested the government to take a mop-up round for the vacant 1000 seats after the round-2 NEET SS seat allotment 2022 was declared.
