A Special Stray vacancy round will be held by the Medical Counselling Committee for filling up vacant Post Graduate seats in medical colleges. Candidates who have qualified the NEET PG examination and are willing to participate in this counselling can register themselves at the official website of the medical counselling committee at mcc.nic.in.

The registration process will begin on Friday, November 17 and will continue till November 22.

Candidates can fill in their choices on the official website from November 18 to November 22, following which the processing of the seat allotment will be done on November 23 and 24. The results of the stray vacancy round will be declared on November 24.

Candidates, allotted seats through this counselling process will have to report to their allotted colleges from November 25 to November 30, 2023.

Who can apply for the counselling?

According to a notification by the MCC, candidates not holding any seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. However, candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC Round-3 onwards are ‘Not Eligible’ to participate.
