NEET PG Counselling 2023: Round 1 registration for AIQ starts today; Know major updates here

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the National Eligibillity-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling registration for round 1, 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats today. Applicants can register for the NEET PG counselling 2023 round 1 at mcc.nic.in.

It must further be noted that the committee will hold the NEET PG counselling in four rounds that are round 1, round 2, mop-up round and stray vacancy round for the AIQ applicants who have been declared qualified for the NEET PG exam 2023. Round 2 of NEET PG 2023 counselling is scheduled to start on 17 August 2023.

The medical graduates will be granted seats for 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 Diplomate Of National Board - Centralised Entrance Test (DNB CET) on the basis of NEET PG 2023 counselling.

​​The NEET PG counselling 2023 round 1 will be followed by the registration process being done by the applicants, fee payment and choice filling of courses and colleges. Admissions will be granted to the PG programmes on the basis of the choices filled by the graduates, NEET PG 2023 rank and availability of seats.
