The National Board of Examinations (NBE) held the NEET PG 2023 on 5 March. This year, approximately 2.9 lakh applicants appeared for the NEET PG 2023 and the exam took place in a single shift from 9 AM to 12 PM. Applicants had to answer 200 MCQs (multiple choice questions). According to the notification released by the NBE earlier, the NEET PG 2023 result will be out on the official website nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in by 31 March.
Once the results are declared, the NEET PG merit list 2023 will be prepared by the NBE based on the rank secured by the applicants. It must further be noted that once the NEET PG 2023 merit list is out, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will hold the counselling process that will start in four months.

The MCC will further hold the counselling process for the 50 percent of All India Quota or AIQ seats, 100 percent state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, and private institutes. Whereas the remaining 50 per cent of AIQ seats will be filled in by the NEET PG counselling 2023 held by the respective state counselling authorities.
