The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in an official notification published recently, has decided to extend the internship completion cut-off deadline to June 30 for NEET-MDS 2024 eligibility. The registration window will reopen for candidates who are completing their internship from April 1 to June 30 and are fulfilling all other required criteria, from today, i.e., March 9 to March 11 (11.55PM). Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website - natboard.edu.in.

Step-by-step guide on how you can apply

  • Visit the official website at natboard.edu.in.
  • Click on the NEET MDS 2024 tab displayed on the homepage.
  • Register yourself to obtain a valid user id and password.
  • Proceed to fill out the application form.
  • Upload the required documents (photograph, signature, and thumb impression).
  • Choose the test city.
  • Make a payment of the examination fee > submit the form.
  • Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

According to the notification, “No edit window shall be available to the candidates who will submit their applications during the aforesaid online registration window. Candidates are advised to exercise caution while filling in their applications in order to avoid any errors as there shall be no opportunity later to edit/modify/change any information submitted.”

The NEET-MDS 2024 exam will be held on March 18, as previously scheduled. Students aspiring to pursue a NEET MDS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dentistry Surgery) degree at renowned private dental colleges, institutions, and universities across India need to appear for this examination, and the counseling process afterward.
