The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced the tentative dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Superspecialty (NEET SS) 2024 exam. Aspiring candidates for super-specialty courses can mark their calendars, as the exam is scheduled to be held on March 29 and March 30, 2025, at designated examination centers across the country.
This announcement follows the approval of the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) under the National Medical Commission, as per a letter dated September 12, 2024. The exam schedule is also in compliance with the Supreme Court’s directive issued on August 14, 2024.
NBEMS has advised candidates to stay updated by regularly visiting their official website for the final schedule, which will be published in the NEET SS 2024 Information Bulletin. The bulletin will provide essential details, including eligibility criteria, fee structure, and the exam pattern. Candidates are encouraged to review these details carefully when released.
NEET SS is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually by NBEMS for admissions into various DM (Doctorate of Medicine) / MCh (Master of Chirurgiae) / DrNB Super-speciality programmes across recognised medical institutions in India. The exam is aimed at providing a single-window opportunity for medical professionals to pursue super-specialty courses in their field of expertise.
