The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a significant reduction in the NEET SS 2023 cut-off, lowering the minimum qualifying percentile from 50 to 20. This adjustment follows the decision of the union ministry of health and family welfare to revise the cut-off marks.
The NEET-SS 2023, held on September 29 and 30, saw its results declared by NBEMS on October 15, 2023. The ongoing NEET SS 2023 round 2 counselling is in progress, with the results set to be announced today. Interested candidates can check the outcome on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Students successfully allotted seats in the NEET SS round 2 counselling are required to report to their respective colleges between December 14 and 20, 2023.

- MBBS degree certificate
- MD/ MS/ DNB degree certificate in the concerned specialty
- Permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by National Medical Commission (NMC)/ NBE/ State Medical Council
- Birth certificate as proof of date of birth. High school or higher secondary certificate can also be used as a DOB proof
- ID proofs such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID card, passport, or Aadhar card.
Candidates achieving a percentile of 20 or higher will be eligible to apply for subsequent NEET SS 2023 counselling rounds, expanding opportunities for medical aspirants.
