The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has begun the registration process to recruit eligible candidates for Group B positions with the Maharashtra State Government. Interested candidates can register online at the MPSC's official website, mpsc.gov.in.
A total of 480 positions will be filled through this recruitment process. The last date for submission of online applications is November 4, 2024.
Details of the vacancy
State Tax Inspector - 2029 vacant positions will be filled
Assistant Section Officer - 55 vacant positions will be filled
Police Sub-Inspector - 215 vacant positions will be filled
The examination will be held in three stages. This includes the Preliminary, Mains and Interview. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be callled in for the mains and candidates who qualify the mains will be called in for interview.
Candidates applying for sub-inspector positions will have to undergo a physical test.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Maharashtra Public Service Commission at mpsc.gov.in
Step 2: Under Online Facilities tab, click on 'Online Application System'
Step 3: If your are a new user, click 'New user Registration'
Step 4: Enter all necessary details and register yourself
Step 5: Enter your login credentials and login to your account
Step 6: Fill up the application form
Step 7: Upload necessary documents
Step 8: Submit the application and take a print out
