Applications are being accepted for a two-month internship program offered by the Ministry of Women and Child Development beginning on 3 July 2023. Women from non-tier 1 cities and rural areas of the nation who are students, academics, social activists, or instructors are eligible to apply. July 7 to August 31 will be the internship's duration. Candidates can apply online and submit their applications by May 29 at 11:59 p.m.
After finishing the internship, the chosen candidates will receive a diploma and Rs 20,000 per month in compensation. Additionally, they will be compensated for their travel expenses. During their internship in Delhi, selected candidates will also have the option of lodging in a shared hostel, which will offer some basic amenities in exchange for the intern's payment of mess fees.
The purpose of the internship is to give the interns high-quality experience through brief assignments so they can comprehend how the Ministry's policies and programmes operate. The interns will be required to work on microstudies and pilot projects that are based on the ministry's ongoing operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must originate from rural and non-tier 1 cities in the country.
- They must be connected to academic or non-academic institutions.
- Candidates should be between the ages of 21 and 40.
