In related news, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two more individuals in connection with the NEET-UG question paper leak. Among the arrested is the person alleged to have stolen the question papers from a National Testing Agency (NTA) trunk in Hazaribagh, Bihar, before they were leaked. The CBI's investigation follows a reference from the education ministry after initial denials of any leak by the Centre. The decision to involve the CBI came amid widespread protests and litigation by students, as reported by the PTI.

The NEET-UG exam, conducted by the NTA on May 5, saw over 23 lakh candidates appearing at 4,750 centres across 571 cities.
