The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to commence the registration for the second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 tomorrow i.e. on 5 September for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS programmes offered at medical and dental colleges. Candidates will be able to register by visiting the official website- mcc.nic.in.
As per the schedule, the deadline to apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 is till 10 September. Those applying for the first time in round 2 will have to pay the registration fee and exercise fresh choices of colleges and courses.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: Schedule for Round 2
Verification of tentative seat matrix by the participating institutes and NMC- 4 to 5 September
Registration and payment- 5 to 10 September (upto 12 noon), Payment facility closes at 3 pm
Choice-filling and locking- 6 to 10 September till 11:55 pm, Choice-locking will be available from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on 10 September 2024
Processing of seat allotment- 11 to 12 September
Result- 13 September
Reporting and joining- 14 to 20 September
Verification of joined candidates data by institutes sharing of data by MCC- 21 to 22 September
If a candidate who registered in round 2 counselling is not allotted a seat, he or she can participate in round 3 directly. Also, if a candidate is allotted a seat in the NEET UG 2nd counselling 2024 and doesn’t join, his or her security deposit will be forfeited.
