The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has launched the choice-locking facility for NEET UG 2024 stray vacancy round counseling. Starting today, October 25, from 4PM, registered medical aspirants can lock in their preferred college choices until 8AM on October 26. The medical candidates must finalise their choices on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Steps to Complete NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round Choice-Locking 2024
- Visit the official website mcc.nic.in.
- Log in with the candidate’s NEET UG 2024 roll number and date of birth.
- Review and finalise the college preferences.
- Lock choices and submit the form after confirming selections.
MCC will release the NEET UG Stray Round Seat Allotment Result 2024 on October 29, with candidates required to report to their allotted colleges between October 30 and November 5, 2024. The seat allotment process for the NEET UG 2024 stray vacancy round will occur from October 26 to October 28, with results published on October 29.
Eligible candidates include those without a seat in either the All India Quota or State Quota, along with those who did not report to their allocated seats in round three or have not joined in previous rounds.
This final round of choice filling, which opened on October 23, addresses 1,184 stray vacancies across medical institutions. In response to a Kerala High Court order, a seat at Sri Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Medical Science in Villianur, Puducherry, has also been added to the available choices.
